Edible transfers do not have a strange texture or taste, nor are they hard to cut through. They don't add an extra layer or "skin" to your cake. The shelf life is great (you don't need to refrigerate them) -- just keep them in their bag. They're easy to apply (simple directions are included). Icing sheets that are put on your baked goods will "merge" with your frosting and become an integral part of your delectables in minutes. It is adviseable that you not directly place them on cakes iced with whipped cream or non-dairy toppings. All edible transfers shown were made by me.
